Grinding teeth and sleep
Did you know that tooth grinding may cause microarousals that cause you to have poor sleep quality? This form of grinding or clenching is called NOCTURNAL PARAFUNCTION and should be treated if possible. People who have sleep apnea or hypopneas, are more prone to morning headaches and excessive daytime sleepiness. CALL for an appointment to be assessed and take the Epworth Sleep Test!
